In this breath taking, Southernmost Indian coastal state, life is sweet.
Boasting one hundred percent literacy and blessed with abundant fruit, fish and produce, the indigenous population thrive! Coconuts, Pineapples, Mango’s and a myriad of other produce grow in profusion and every facet of each is used to create a life that is relaxed, peaceful, tranquil and quite, quite beautiful. The smiles of the natives emanate from their very soul and when they ask how you are….. they wait for an answer! The colours, smells, costumes and food culminate in a place so close to perfection it is hard to imagine anywhere better. Perhaps that is why it is known internationally as God’s own country – and who are we to argue….
Transkerala is the brainchild of Sebastian S CHACKO , himself a Keralan, who after many years in the hospitality and hotel industry realised that the tours on offer were sadly limited to the usual suspects: Backwater tours, temples and the like. But what about the real Kerala?
The festivals, the sporting events, the gastronomic specialities not widely available in the 4 & 5* hotels, typically catering for the touristic tastes of European visitors. The glorious beaches and the well being, Ayurvedic treatments….. all these are only a few of the delights that await visitors in search of their own little corner of paradise.
One year ago Sebastian began taking small groups of people on personally guided tours based upon their likes, passions and interests. Choosing from the tours on offer and customising them accordingly, to suit the client’s desires and timings. A simple but unique concept. Sharing his knowledge and beloved country with likeminded people who value their choice, their time and their independence!!! As a responsible holiday provider, We thrive to endeavour every available local human power, particularly women and resources in our tours in order give you a real life experience which makes our tailor made tours unique from our competitors. In the past we have been actively involving with CRUK charity programs and events to raise funds and awareness about cancer. Have actively been involved in organising World Environment day, Yoga Day, Tourism Day and Earth day events in Kerala & in the UK in the past mobilising hotel partners in many sustainable activities
